Licensed Reiki Master Teacher Jill Thiel
Meet Jill Thiel, a Senior Licensed Reiki Master Teacher for the ICRT, and owner of both the Minnesota Reiki Center and Minnesota Sound Healing. Certified in Reiki since 2004, Jill specializes in helping individuals heal and promotes overall wellness and self-care through Reiki, sound healing, and massage therapy.
Qualifications and Lineage
Jill has trained with honorable Reiki teachers like William Lee Rand, Colleen Benelli, Pam Allen LaBlanc, and Patricia Naffky. As a Licensed Reiki Master Teacher with The International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT), she has completed over a thousand hours of advanced Reiki teacher training. Impressively, Jill is one of only 40 licensed Reiki teachers worldwide.
Jill’s certifications include Usui Reiki Ryōhō, Usui Holy Fire® III Reiki, Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki®, and ICRT Animal Reiki. She also serves as Director of Social Media and Assistant Director of the Licensed Reiki Master Teacher Training Program for the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT). In addition, Jill is a published author in Reiki News Magazine, a certified massage therapist, and a board-certified continuing education provider through NCTMB.
Curriculum Vitae
Jill’s dedication to spiritual growth and compassion spans her entire adult life. A devoted practitioner of Tibetan Buddhism, she has studied under Lama Tsering, Chagdud Khadro, Lama Padma of Chagdud Gongpa, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and Sakya Trizin. She has received numerous Vajrayana empowerments, including Red Tara, Chenrezig, Vajrakilaya, and Medicine Buddha.
Jill received her massage therapy certification in 2006 and later worked as a massage educator at The Aveda Institute from 2011 to 2017. Through this work, she developed deep expertise in chakras, aromatherapy, reflexology, energy work, sound healing, meridians, massage therapy, and Ayurveda.
Passionate about sustainability and organic gardening, Jill and her husband David built the first deep winter greenhouse in Minneapolis.
